After teasing the hell out of it last week, FOMO Festival has officially announced that BROCKHAMPTON is the first, big headline act to be gracing the single-stage, no-clashes party in 2020.
Undoubtedly the hardest-working boy band in show business/the world, the collective of rappers, singers, producers, and all-round creatives by way of San Marcos, Texas will bring their boisterous show to all festival dates in Australia, a one-off headline show in Perth, and a very special curated event in Auckland.
The BROCKHAMPTON clan hasn’t stopped since we saw them back in May 2018, they released their fourth album, Iridescence, in September, ringleader Kevin Abstract has released his own album, Arizona Baby, in April, and they finally got to smash out a huge set at the Governor’s Ball over in New York this week.
FOMO Fest will mark the first time that the group has ever played in Adelaide, and I’m hoping and praying that someone takes the extended BROCKHAMPTON family to the Malls Balls so they can really get some good Adelaide culture in their faces.
This is what happened last time they were here (!!!) BLESS.
The rest of the lineup will be with us in due time, early bird tickets for the festival are on sale fro 9am Wednesday June 12 AEST, but only if you sign up over on the fest’s website.
The brand-new curated event in Auckland is also set to release early-bird tickets on Wednesday June 12 local time, and you can sign up for those over here.
And the BROCKHAMPTON one-off show in Perth is on sale from 9am Wednesday June 12 AWST from the FOMO website.
