Brighten Your Monday W/ This Video Of Shaggy From ICP Fly-Kicking Fred Durst On Stage

It many be difficult to comprehend or accept that fundamentally good things can still happen in 2018, considering the fact the past decade or so has been an escalating maelstrom of shit. But I’m here for you on this Monday morning to tell you that yes, our increasingly compromised reality is still capable of producing good outcomes. To that end: here is a video of Shaggy 2 Dope from Insane Clown Posse attempting to deploy an aerial kick against Limp Bizkit frontman Fred Durst onstage.

The incident in question – and I use the word ‘incident’ despite the fact I’d prefer to call it a ‘revelatory event of Biblical magnitude’ – took place at the Rock Allegiance Festival in Camden, New Jersey, mere hours after ICP’s own set at the same event.

As you can see from the video, the kick was unsuccessful, and security quickly dragged Shaggy offstage, where a scuffle took place. It doesn’t appear that Durst recognised the ICP frontman at the time.

“What a pussy, he couldn’t even pull it off,” Durst remarks in the clip, before telling security to “calm down… It’s just one guy.”

Durst and ICP have been mildly feuding for decades at this point, in what might be the the lowest stakes beef in hip hop history. There’s no word on what precisely motivated Shaggy to take to the stage and deliver a feeble middle-aged-man bicycle kick to Durst, so I am forced to assume he was motivated by God himself.
