Police Find Body In Search For Missing Frightened Rabbit Singer Scott Hutchison

Terrible news to end the week, with Police in Scotland confirming they have recovered a body in the search for missing Frightened Rabbit frontman Scott Hutchison.

Hutchison, 36, had been reported missing by his family and bandmates after disappearing from a hotel in South Queensferry, west of Edinburgh, in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Scott’s brother and bandmate Grant had appealed to the public for any information regarding Scott’s possible whereabouts; the troubled singer posted a pair of worrying Tweets in the hours leading up to his disappearance.

Police confirmed that a body had been located at Port Edgar, a short distance from where Hutchison was last seen.

Authorities asserted that the formal identification process was still taking place, and that the family of Scott Hutchison was being notified.

Edinburgh Police issued a short statement confirming the body’s recovery, which occurred at around 8:30pm (local time) on Thursday evening.

Scott wrote and recorded five studio albums with Frightened Rabbit, last releasing Painting of a Panic Attack in 2016. He released one solo album under the moniker Owl John in 2014.

Go well, dear Scott. Wherever you are, keep yourself warm.
