Blue Ivy Carter Inspires A Strain Of Weed

As predicted, the infant child of Beyonce and Jay-Z is the most powerful baby in rap. Blue Ivy Carter‘s first milestone was becoming the youngest person ever to appear on the Billboard charts thanks to her guest appearance on Jay’s single “Glory”, and now, in the ultimate sign of relevance in the hip hop world Blue has had a strand of weed named after her.

TMZ reports that several “weed dispensaries in Hollywood are cashing in on hip hop’s baby princess … by selling a new strain of marijuana called “OG Blue Ivy.”

It is possible that Blue’s influence will also be strong enough to carry across to the way in which her dad performs. We may have seen the last of Jay’s live performances of Black Album single “99 Problems” after he vowed to stop using the word “bitch” via these lyrics from “Glory”:

Before I got in the game, made a change, and got rich / I didn’t think hard about using the word bitch / I rapped, I flipped it, I sold it, I lived it / Now with my daughter in this world I curse those that give it.

If you go from saying “99 problems but a bitch ain’t one” to not saying bitch at all, is that what you call a self-fulfilling prophecy??
