Bliss N Eso Release Video Tribute To QLD Stuntman Killed On Film Clip Set

Sydney hip-hop trio Bilss n Eso have released a touching video for their single ‘Friend Like You‘.
Instead of the planned short film treatment for the clip, the video is a moving tribute to Johann ‘Yogi’ Ofner, a stuntman who was accidentally shot and killed in Brisbane while filming the original clip for the same song.
The new video features many of Ofner’s friends reminiscing about the man they thought of as their brother, as well as live footage of Bliss n Eso’s tribute show, which was held on the Gold Coast to raise funds for Ofner’s young daughter.
This is about celebrating his life,” one of Ofner’s friends says to the camera in the clip. “It’s something he would have really loved doing.
Every time you’d see him he’d make you feel special,” says another.
Bliss n Eso have been committed since the accident occurred to doing everything they can to support Ofner’s grieving family and friends, including selling a limited-edition shirt to raise more money for Ofner’s six-year-old daughter Kyarna
The tribute show on the Coast raised more than $40,000 for a trust set up for Kyarna. In a Facebook post launching the clip, the band said:
“It was incredibly special to share the night with Johann’s friends and family, it will have an important place in our hearts and minds forever.”
Check out the clip below, and have some tissues handy.
