The larger-than-life New Orleans bounce champion, the self-styled Queen Diva, the towering powerhouse of ass has many strings to her considerably well stocked bow.
Having completed an Australian tour last festival season – seriously, if you were one of the lucky few to have snuck a peak at her sideshow at Melbourne’s Howler just before New Years, you bore witness to one hell of a thing – Freedia has taken a little bit of time for herself this calendar year, following a hectic 2014.
But that doesn’t mean she’s been completely silent – how on earth could she ever be?
As part of Adult Swim‘s Singles Series – which is an ongoing collection of stuff from a bunch of seriously cool artists – Big Freedia put a bouncing spin on Sia‘s “Eye Of The Needle” in a remixed version that has more than it’s fair share of semi-subtle lyrical callbacks to Limp Bizkit‘s “Rollin’ (Air Raid Vehicle)” of all things.
