It’s yet to be officially confirmed by either camp so it’s little more than wishful conjecture substantiated by a very knowing wink from an industry source at this point, but from the looks of a waiting list which has appeared on Ticketek it’s sounding more than likely that Beyoncé and Jay Z will be bringing their joint On The Run tour to Australia in the very near future.
In related Investigative Journalism, the only artists who garner a mention on Ticketek’s social media channels are artists who are currently touring, natch, or artists who are about to tour (Miley Cyrus and Kanye West; a band of ragtag teens who lost a fight to gale force winds called Five Seconds Of Summer).
There are only two more pitstops on the current nineteen show iteration of On The Run; the final two concerts will be staged in Paris and will coincide with the airing of a concert tour documentary of the same name on HBO on September 20th.
On The Run’s career retrospective setlist runs well and truly balls-to-the-wall deep at 44 songs, and I made it into a playlist months ago, available below for your listening pleasure.
