Beach Rd Sideshow – Sherlocks Daughter + Stonefield

Now here’s a great double-whammy if ever we saw one. Sherlock’s Daughter, you may remember, are that rad dream-pop band who went overseas for a while and then kind of disappeared when one of their members’ side projects (read: Djanimals) became a bit too successful. But they’re really good and from the sounds of things, they’ve regrouped, too. Having no such trouble are Melbourne’s Stonefield, who Triple (and us) absolutely adore – a highschool girl band who rock out with their…you know, guitars out. They’ve been called the female successors to Led Zeppelin, which gets us excited in all the right places. And they’ve just been asked to play at Glastonbury. No biggie.
