BANGER ALERT: Daft Punk Drops 1st New Music Since 2013 W/ The Weeknd

It’s been *far* too long between Daft Punk bangers – but the wait is over.

Hours after announcing ‘Starboy’, the soon-to-be-released follow up album to his 2015 chart topper Beauty Behind The Madness, The Weeknd confirmed rumours everyone’s fave partybots would be contributing to his latest body of work by dropping their collab tune.
Title track ‘Starboy’ marks the first new music from Daft Punk since 2013’s Grammy Award-winning album Random Access Memories.

Republic Records executive VP Wendy Goldstein first revealed The Weeknd had teamed up with the producin’ Frenchies last month, saying:

“I’ve always been a massive Daft Punk fan, and this is the first time that I’ve actually been involved with an artist who’s going to go and work with them.”
According to iTunes, Starboy will ft. 18 tracks and will be avail for purchase on Nov 25.
