Produced by NYC based The Melker Project, it’s the Hall & Oates x Hip Hop – which, as the title suggests, combines classic hip hop tracks with the two most hip hop bros around. Ballin’ Oates is the third in a series of compliation EPs by Melker, including such classics as: Skeetwood Mac, Johnny Cashin’ Out and Trill Collins.
In terms of 80s x Hip Hop mashups this is right up there with Heart of Man and with excellent tracks like Wu-Tang’s Maneater and Twista’s Kiss Is On My List you’re sure to be out of your head when it’s not around:
