Tickets for Splendour In The Grass, the annual North Byron event which has become a cornerstone of Aussie festival culture, are gone. All gone. It took around five hours for the regular allocation of passes to become exhausted when they went on sale yesterday.

It’s almost like punters want to see Childish Gambino, Catfish And The Bottlemen, and a slew of other local and international talent. It’s almost like a supplementary mini-fest, held in a city like Adelaide, would draw folks unable to scoot over to New South Wales in July…

Yes, Spin Off is returning to Adelaide Showground on July 19, enabling the tune-staved masses to insert the good stuff into their aural cavities.

In addition to the This Is America rapper / “Awaken, My Love!” funk maestro and the British rock act, folks can expect to see fellow Splendour alumni Ball Park Music, Hottest 100 champs Ocean Alley, Wolf Alice, Hockey Dad, Mallrat, Ruby Fields, Kwame, and Kian.

If you’re the kind of South Australian who’d like to peep those acts, consider throwing your cash at the organisers here.
