Aussie Graf King Scottie Marsh Reveals Personal Commission For The Weeknd

Scottie Marsh refuses to stop killing it.

The Australian graffiti king, who most likely exploded into your conscience last year with Sydney’s massive Kanyeloveskanye mural, has revealed one of his latest projects: a commission for The Weeknd.

The keyword there is “commission.” None of those ransom-like promises to paint over a mural for $100,000, no sir.
Emulating the Canadian lord’s November 2015 Rolling Stone cover, the piece is dark, energetic, and – whisper it – a little Basquait. Just like Abel Tesfaye himself, then.

Glad this one finally made it to you mate ???? @theweeknd #rollingstonemagazine #theweeknd @rollingstone

PEDESTRIAN.TV has reached out to Marsh to find out how the project came together, but y’all can assume his ever-increasing cred as one of Australia’s premiere graffiti artists has something to do with it.

Just last month, Marsh posted up a damn-near angelic mural in honour of George Michael, so 2017 is already looking beaut for the bloke.

Details from recent commission ???? #scottmarsh
