Aussie Band Joins The Shins, Bon Iver On The Soundtrack To The New Zach Braff Movie

Zach Braff‘s long-awaited (??) follow-up to Garden State is about to be released and make all our teeth hurt with tweeness.

As you might expect, the soundtrack to Wish I Was Here is packed with some big indie rock names, including the life-changing Shins, Bon Iver, Badly Drawn Boy and Gary Jules, whose last big hit was Mad World from a certain other movie’s soundtrack. Many of the songs are all-new, including a pretty surprising collab between Cat Power and Coldplay
Another lesser-known name in the track list is Japanese Wallpaper, a.k.a. 17-year-old Melbourne musician Gab Strum, whose 2013 single Breathe In somehow found its way to Braff’s ears. Listen:
