Haven’t they done well indeed! The good – if not thoroughly cooked – lads at Aunty Donna have already managed to pack more than anyone’s fair share of work into the start of 2018, but come this weekend they’ll be ticking a big one off the career bucket-list: hosting Rage.
Yes, you read that right. The three extremely Chuffed maniacs will be taking over the iconic red couch at ABC studios this weekend to play a variety of tunes that’ll fire your weekend right-the-hell up.
ABC confirmed The Donnas (not the excellent rock group of the same name) appearance a short while ago with a teaser clip from the couch.

Rage published a short preview of what to expect from an Aunty Donna-curated playlist, including the likes of Tenacious D, The Lonely Island, Montaigne, and even the jam of jams, Avril Lavigne‘s ‘Complicated.’ Yes. Bloody. Mates.
In addition to this appearance, the group is gearing up to drop their debut LP The Album on April 6th, and is also embarking on a giant run of shows throughout the currently on-going Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Rage hits the air on Saturday morning at 10am, and again later that night from 12:18am on ABC.
