Those of you fully enshrined into the cult of AD already will no doubt be aware that the Melbourne-based sketch group released a full-length album of songs, ditties, and banter earlier this year simply called Aunty Donna: The Album.
After dragging their asses around the festival circuit and over to North America for the past few months, they’re now set to tour Australia in venues ordinarily reserved for your standard music bands and the like. No chairs at these gigs, mates. It’s a full-on rock show comin’ at you.
Hell yeah, that’s the Aunty Donna trio live, on stage, with a full band behind them, and Michelle Brasier on vocals propping them up.
Unreal stuff.
Tickets for all the shows are on sale as we speak via Aunty Donna’s official website, with the tour taking in hallowed venues in towns like Melbourne, Canberra, Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth, and Hobart.
It all kicks off on October 3rd in the regional Victorian town of Ballarat at the famous Karova Lounge before snaking its way around the country.
