While details are still rolling in, witnesses have described hearing “loud bangs” at Manchester Arena just after the pop star finished performing.
British Transport Police have confirmed the incident occurred in the foyer area of the stadium at around 10:30pm.

Joe Gregory, who was sitting in a car directly across from the arena waiting for his girlfriend (she was inside but is thankfully ok), recorded the loud bang made by the blast.

Emergency services are yet to confirm the cause of the blast but it’s currently being treated as a terrorist incident until police know otherwise.
Various reports suggest a panicked stampede as concertgoers tried to escape may be the primary cause of death and injury.
Our thoughts are with the family and friends of all those involved in this awful incident.
