Ariana Grande Drops Final Iconic 00s Film Referenced In ‘Thank U, Next’ Clip

After teasing that the upcoming clip for ‘Thank U, Next‘ is going to be referencing iconic 00s films Legally Blonde, Suddenly 30, and Mean Girls, ya queen Ariana Grande has revealed the final power-women flicks getting the high pony nod –  Bring It On. TBH I’m VERY ready for this content.

Ariana posted a bunch of stills and behind-the-scenes photos from the clip, showing her in a Rancho Carne Toros cheer outfit and a group of East Compton Clovers on her Twitter, complete with some of the best quotes and cheers from the 2000 film.

She’s also enlisted a heavily-preganté Colleen Ballinger (who you might know as Miranda Sings) as her fellow Toro, and Daniella Monet from Ari’s Nickelodeon days on VICTORiOUS with some of her super talented backup dancers from the Honeymoon Tour on duty as the East Compton Clovers.

This whole video is going to be so deeply inspired, it’s almost like every sleepover and movie night you had as a teenager rolled into one.

Oh and if you haven’t seen any of the four iconic films that will be referenced in ‘Thank U, Next‘, then Ari is gunna need you to do some serious homework before her video drops in the not-too-distant future.

Better get to work on those high kicks, and get your white joggers to a pristine cheer-squad spotless shade of ivory for the moment we’re blessed with the ‘Thank U, Next‘ clip, or at the very least just re-watch Bring It On and rediscover that long-dormant crush on Jesse Bradford.
