Arctic Monkeys have finally come out and confirmed the impending release of new album Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino, their first record since 2013’s swaggering AM.
With a pleasingly retro-futuristic video, the English juggernauts announced the newie will arrive on Earth on May 11.
A track list for the record, produced by AM knob-twiddler James Ford and Arctic Monkey’s own frontman Alex Turner, has also been revealed. We’re here for the Thunderbirds-esque vibe of the entire thing, tbh.

The announcement comes after the act revealed a whole slew of tour dates across Europe and North America. Us Aussies will just have to wait, but we have to reiterate: with track titles like The World’s First Ever Monster Truck Front Flip, we can only assume it will be worth it.
