A truckload of your fave local musos are teaming up for an ANZAC Day concert dedicated to all the hardworking COVID-19 workers.

Music From The Home Front, a one-off special broadcast on Nine, boasts an already-stellar line-up, featuring the likes of Courtney Barnett, Delta Goodrem, G Flip, Missy Higgins, Kevin Parker, Vance Joy, The Rubens, The Wiggles and many, many more. (Yes, queen Delta is blessing us with more earporn follow the mammoth success of her Together At Home performance last weekend. We simply aren’t worthy.)

“While recognising and acknowledging the Anzac message,” the concert’s mission statement reads, “we also turn our attention to those that are currently fighting on the COVID-19 front line and say, ‘thank you’.”

“Throughout history music has helped people through times of hardship,” Michael Gudinski, CEO of Frontier Touring and Chairman of the Mushroom Group, said. “Music From The Home Front is about uniting Australian and New Zealanders through the power of music in a time that we all need a bit of hope and happiness.”

For you Aussie folk, you can watch the ANZAC Day concert on Nine & 9Now at 7.30PM (AEST) this Saturday. New Zealanders can tune in via Three & ThreeNow at 9.30PM (NZST).

Head on over to the official Music From The Home Front site for further info, and keep your eyes peeled for further line-up additions over the next coupla days.
