Angry Boys’ S.Mouse Cracks ARIA Top 40

As Angry Boys continues to hemorrhage viewers, underwhelm critics and strip the word dickhead of all meaning, Chris Lilley can find some consolation in the only charts that matter. “Slap My Elbow” by fictional rapper S.mouse (a comedy black hole and Lilley’s most two dimensional character ever) debuted at #37 on the ARIA singles chart last week, reaffirming our weird appreciation for ringtone rap and terrible novelty songs. The single has since exited the top 50 but will appear as part of an Angry Boys soundtrack slated for release in July. I guess it’s meta proof of whatever Lilley was trying to say about disposable pop music and for that we applaud him. S.mouse however, no claps for that guy. No claps for that guy at all.
