Another alleged victim of singer R Kelly, 24-year-old Jerhonda Pace, has come out today to Buzzfeed to tell her story of physical abuse and sexual assault.
The fresh allegations come in the wake of a series of reports that he has a “cult” of v. young women that he holds against their will in two properties in Duluth and Chicago.
Pace says she is breaking a non-disclosure agreement to speak out, but she fears for the safety of women still living with him.
She accuses him of mental and physical abuse, and of sleeping with her when she was underage, losing her virginity to him at 16 – one year below the age of consent in Illinois.
Pace stopped speaking to Kelly after “I was slapped and I was choked and I was spit on” by the musician.
Pace says her relationship with Kelly began when she was contacted by his people on MySpace, after she had been noticed skipping school to attend his 2008 court hearings, where he faced charges of making child pornography.
They then had a sexual relationship for seven months, Kelly often filming the encounters. “I had to call him ‘daddy’, and he would call me ‘baby’. He wanted me to have two pigtails, and I had to go out and find little schoolgirl outfits.”
Kelly’s representatives wholly deny the new allegations.
The allegations against Mr. Kelly are false, and are being made by individuals known to be dishonest. It is clear these continuing stories are the result of the effort of those with personal agendas who are working in concert to interfere with and damage his career. Mr. Kelly again denies any and all wrong doing and is taking appropriate legal action to protect himself from ongoing defamation.
