Alison Wonderland Facilitated An Adorable Mid-Set Same-Sex Wedding Proposal

In the sweaty, stammering words of an elected official, let a thousand blossoms bloom. And bloom they have ever since Australian Parliament ceased faffing about and finally passed marriage equality late last week, sending scores of LGBTQI Australians down on bended knee as they could finally – at long last – legally marry their beloveds. While it’s by no-means a competition, we might just have a front-runner for the most public proposal since the legislation, one that was facilitated by the tiny powerhouse that is Alison Wonderland.

The DJ’s spooky and sprawling Scarehouse Project tour rolled through Sydney this past weekend, bringing 5,000-odd punters to a secret farm location somewhere in Abbotsbury this past Saturday night.

Mid-set Alison graciously ceded the stage to a lovestruck lass by the name of Biba, who – in front of the entire heaving crowd – popped the question to her equally adorable beau.

The photos, kids. They’ll warm even the coldest cockle of yr heart.

Isn’t that just the nicest bleedin’ thing? Ahhh man. How good is that.

The question was, as is plainly evident, met with a resounding yes and the rest of the festival went off with barely a hitch.

There might be some in the country who ain’t spendin’ any time on it, but for those that now can, they’re choosing to spend the rest of their lives.

And that’s a good, good, good, good, really good thing.
