Alice Glass, Ladyhawke, MGMT Top NME COOL LIST

NME just published their 2008 Cool List.

It’s pretty raw, then again so is NME. Does anyone in Australia even read NME?

Here’s the bombshell; Alice Glass of Crystal Castles fame has taken out numero uno.

What a shock? What did we miss? Last time I checked AG was just some sweaty “highly tuggable” neo goth doing the anti as per most musicians who have/had spent money on black dye in the last 30.

Australia’s* Ladyhawke placed #6 too.
