Alex The Astronaut Puts A Dreamy Spin On Paul Kelly For ‘Like A Version’

It’s a big year for Alex the Astronaut. The burgeoning Sydney singer-songwriter is about to launch her second EP ‘See You Soon,’ and is riding a big wave of momentum thanks to her incredibly moving and personal tune ‘Not Worth Hiding,’ which hit the online airwaves just a few short weeks ago.

As if that tune alone wasn’t enough of a kick in the emotional guts by itself, Alex stopped by Triple J studios to lay down a soulful, moving rendition of Paul Kelly‘s soulful ditty ‘If I Could Start Today Again‘ for the ever-present Like a Version.

Feel like having a little quiet moment to yourself on the first morning of spring? Hit play. Go on. Whatever it is you’re doing can absolutely wait. This is worth it.

Alex also ran through a rendition of ‘Not Worth Hiding‘ while in the studios, and it’s just as good live as it is on record.

Hell of a tune, that one. Hell of a tune.

If you’re keen to catch Alex the Astronaut live and in the IRL, a slew of live dates have just been announced on the back of the See You Soon EP’s release, which is due to hit shelves on October 5th.
