To the gentle chanting of 5SOS, 5SOS, 5SOS – 5 Seconds of Summer has announced they’re coming home to play a special Friends of Friends show next month.
On Thursday arvo, the legends dropped the details for their second Friends of Friends show, scheduled for Wednesday, 3 July at Sydney’s The Factory Theatre.
If you’re blanking, Friends of Friends is 5SOS’s clothing line.
“The ultimate goal is for it to travel with us co-existing with our tours and donates to regional charities depending on where we are in the world,” Ashton Irwin tweeted upon its launch.
5SOS will take to the stage with special guests Amy Shark, Genesis Owusu, The Modern Glitch and more.
OKAY BAD NEWS: the gig is already sold out but there is a waitlist set up just in case tickets become available. Ya never know.
Ahead of the Sydney gig, Friends of Friends released a limited range of brand new merch.

“All profits generated from the event and all sales on the store will be donated to @BYSA_Blacktown to help fund their music program,” 5SOS said on Twitter. “Close to where we all grew up, BYSA is a social impact organisation dedicated to nurturing young people and creating social change in the community.”
Blacktown Youth Service Association (BYSA) is an organisation dedicated to seeing kids thrive by using creativity to inspire, resource, and empower.
5SOS’s first-ever Friends of Friends gig was back in May, in California. All profits from the show went straight to Safe Place for Youth in Venice, Cali.
Earlier this week, while visiting BBC Radio 1’s Live Lounge, the band performed a cover of Sam Smith and Normani‘s duet ‘Dancing With A Stranger.’
It’s a bloody beaudy.
The band’s currently gearing up for their fourth studio album, on top of their upcoming tour across North America with The Chainsmokers and Lennon Stella.
If you happen to be in the United States of A during the last quarter of the year, you can check out their tour dates right HERE.
