2012 Smac Award Finalists Announced

Our platonic life partners at FBi Radio have announced the finalists for the fifth annual Sydney, Music Arts & Culture (SMAC) Awards. Spanning an eclectic mix of vibe enhancing Sydney creatives including purveyors of experiential arts events, hallucinogenic music videos, crack-like gelato and blissful dance music, the awards seek to publicly high-five the innovators whose creativity, originality and innovation have kept Sydney’s creative heart beating in 2012.

Public voting opens today and will run until January 3rd with over 70 finalists across 13 categories including Record of the Year, Best Eats, Best on Screen, Next Big Thing and Best Collective (hint: not these guys), proudly presented again by yours turly.

The awards will be held on January 17 and broadcast live on FBi 94.5FM. Check out the full list of nominees below and cast your vote here. On ya Sydney.
