The Prettiest Places To Buy Lush Indoor Plants Around Australia

Do you even have a home if there are no house plants in it? That is the question of 2017. Somewhere in the last couple of years, home greenery made a strong return – but these aren’t your Mums 90’s basket ferns. They’re majestic beauties, pieces of art in a way – and half the fun is trawling sites and stores searching through their beautiful displays for your next lil’ plant baby.

There’s no shortage of stylish places to buy beaut fiddle leaf fig trees/cacti. But we’ve rounded up some of our current faves – be it online or a gorgeous shop you can drift through for hours.

Having a background in art direction and graphic design is a pretty good platform to start a lush plant business, and that’s exactly what Lauren Camilleri, owner of Sydney based Domus Botanica, has in spades. After 12 years in the design biz, working on interiors mag titles, which inspired her foray into interior greenery. Their online store is a minimalist design masterpiece (of course) and their plants and plant accessories are chic, yet totally affordable.

While we’re talking about Lauren Camilleri, she also teamed up with her pal, plant stylist Sophia Caplan, and made a plant delivery service. There’s four ops which mean you can gift your friends/lovers/fam a lush pot plant as opposed to flowers that’ll die in 2 days. Or yourself. We won’t judge.

Regular terrariums, eat your heart out. The Glasshouse Co has masterfully created these floating, water-based babies that’re totally affordable but insanely lush to look at. Bonus – they donate 10% of all profits to charity.

This Brissie based old-school nursery has an amazing array of indoor babies for you to spend your $$$ on. They also have a pretty schmick antiques and vintage store on site, if you want to just re-do your entire terrace…
