If you want a bit of a break from the artisanal bread baking, spiral puzzles, and napping, a ceramics studio in Melbourne is delivering at home clay and tool kits. It’s yet another thing I can spectacularly suck at in isolation.

From $65, the Céramiques tool kit comes with everything you need to create your own little clay baby in iso. Delivery is free across Victoria, but if you live outside the state, there’s an additional delivery fee. So what can you expect in the kit? Well, 10kg of b-e-a-u-tiful hand-building clay. I may not know much about ceramics, but that sounds like a lot to work with. Imagine the possibilities.

If you have no idea where to begin, Céramiques has your back. The team offer 24-hour DM support, with online tutorials on the way, if this is your first time getting stuck into clay.

Once your masterpiece is dry, you can get in touch with Céramiques, or any kiln service out there, to get your piece bisque fired. Céramiques also do home pick ups and drop offs, so you don’t even have to leave home. From the date of pick up, it’ll take the team a maximum of two weeks to return your piece to you.

You can read more about Céramiques / purchase your own kit right here.

If you’re already a pottery pro, you can check out some other tutorials on Céramique’s Instagram that require a pottery wheel.

I, uh, have a sudden urge to slap clay.
