Who we are looking for:

We are looking for a passionate, driven and hardworking PR Account Executive, with a minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in PR and Marketing Communications. An understanding of the Australian media landscape is essential, and a passion and understanding of food, the restaurant landscape, the hospitality industry and travel is preferred. 

Applicants must have:

  • Full rights to work in Australia – we can’t offer sponsorship 
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience in pitching stories to media eg. print, broadcast and radio
  • Minimum of 1-year PR Account Executive experience across marketing and PR, ideally agency side, and across hospitality, travel and lifestyle would be preferable
  • Good relationships and an understanding of Australian media & influencers
  • Must be motivated, organised, hardworking, efficient and able to multitask
  • Must be able to work as part of a team and take direction, but also work autonomously and take initiative

The role:

  • Full time role
  • Working across exciting accounts including some of Australia’s best bars & restaurants, large-scale music and food festivals, fitness brands, charity campaigns and more
  • Working from a cool boutique Bondi Beach office
  • Reporting directly into the Senior Account Manager who reports into the Director
  • Day to day requirements across all client accounts assisting the Senior Account Manger include (but are not limited to);
    • Client social media strategy and management
    • Creating client reporting documents to the highest standard (such as weekly WIPs and final reports)
    • Creating up to date media and influencer lists and ensuring they’re kept current
    • Creating exceptionally written media releases/communications to pitch to media
    • Media relations – building relationships, pitching and ongoing follow up/management, and hosting when required
    • Photo shoot management
    • Event planning and management
    • Being aware of what’s happening nationally and globally in the world of food and hospitality – keeping your finger on the pulse and showing a passion and understanding for our industry
    • Identifying and acting on media opportunities to generate exposure for clients
    • Working as a team. Assisting and supporting the Senior Account Manager & Director with their client requirements
