Have you ever had the dream to work AND travel at the same time? But thought, “That won’t ever be possible in my line of work”.
Well, think again!

We’re on the hunt for dedicated Support Worker to travel and work for 6 months on a European dream holiday!

This will be the trip of a lifetime for our client, but we want to find the right person- and also want them to have a good time. There is no itinerary set in stone, so there is room for flexibility and input. This will be your holiday too.

The Client:

Is a 20 something male with a free spirit and a yearning for the summer.
 “I’m thinking next year after March sometime depending on the support workers schedule. I’d love to explore Europe, (UK, Germany, Italy, France and Greek Islands are definitely my no-brainers) however, the others will depend on the similarities we have with each other. It’s their holiday too! 


I’m open to most possibilities but the holiday would be planned together.
The only places
 off the cards is anywhere cold, I’m chasing summer!”

Ben, the Client

Assistance Required:
– Transfer in and out of bed
– Morning routine, shower, bowel care, getting dressed and breakfast (2 hours)
“During the day, I may need assistance through inaccessible places/tours but other than that we can see Europe together some days or part ways for half the day and meet up later (depending on where we are).” – Ben
What’s Included?
– Approx. pay for 6 hours per day
 
– Costs of flights and accommodation will also be negotiated with the right candidate

To be considered for these positions, you MUST have:

      Certificate lll or higher in Aged Care, Disability Services or Community Services

      Current DCSI Clearance or willingness to obtain

      Current Provide First Aid Certificate – issued within the last 3 years

      Current Manual Handling Certificate including the use of mechanical lifters – issued within the last 12 months

      Current Passport

To be successful, you will also be able to demonstrate:

      An evident passion and commitment to your role as a Support Worker

      The ability to empower the client and encourage independence

      Be reliable and flexible to meets the needs of our client

      Excellent verbal and written communication skills

      The ability to provide client-centered service

      Have prior experience providing community-based care

      Possess excellent personal hygiene and presentation
