Do you know the difference between CPM and CPC? Are you fluent in memes? Can you boomerang? Does Power Editor make you cheer not cringe? Have you lost feeling in your right thumb from religiously scrolling through social feeds?

If you answered yes to all of the above, then welcome to your next dream job as Social Media Producer at Pacific Magazines.

Pacific Magazines is transforming from a magazines company to a content powerhouse. With a growing social media audience of over 15 million touch points, it’s a pretty exciting time to get involved tbh.

So what does a Social Media Producer actually entail?

Based in Eveleigh and reporting to the Social Media Manager, you’ll be responsible for creating, managing, executing and amplifying Social Media content for Pacific’s advertiser partnerships. You’ll be working on titles such as Marie Claire, InStyle, Women’s Health, Men’s Health, WHO and New Idea. No one day is exactly the same, as you fly the #TEAMSOCIAL flag by providing input into social media strategy for advertiser partnerships; assisting with reporting, analysis and recommendations for continued growth and engagement and contributing to the development of creative ideas and tactics as part of the wider Pacific team.

It’s a fast-paced role but you’ll love every minute of it as long as you have:

  • Previous professional experience in Social Media
  • Excellent communication skills and positive attitude (online and IRL)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Knowledge and understanding of all social media platforms
  • Experience using Facebook Power Editor
  • Project management and organization skills
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure

Sound like your ideal job? We thought it might be.

So if you’ve got the strong worth ethic to match your strong social game, love all things digital and want to work for a company that’s all about career progression and being the best in the biz, then we want to hear from you soon!
