Fishburners – Office Coordinator Position

Australia’s largest startup space is searching for an all star Office Coordinator. The Office Coordinator will be responsible for executing all member account processes. We’re a high impact team and the successful candidate will be an energetic and detail oriented individual.

We’re looking for someone who has an interest in startups and is keen to dive into this role and join a team that is passionate about helping grow the Australian startup scene.  

Your role will involve:

  • New member signup and orientation
  • Membership billing and accounts
  • Reconciliation of expense accounts and payments
  • Executing processes to improve the member experience
  • Ongoing member support
  • Special projects as assigned

The successful applicant will:

  • Have a minimum 2+ years work experience in a related field or role
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, while multitasking and maintaining a strong eye for details
  • Be organised and efficient with their time
  • Eager and willing to learn new skills
  • High level of professional maturity, integrity, and a solid work ethic
  • An excellent verbal and written communicator

Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience with the following software: Xero, Chargebee, Pipedrive, Excel, G Suite
  • Experience in bookkeeping and accounts management for a small to medium sized business
  • Knowledge/ interest in the startup industry
  • A love of checklists and systems
