We are seeking an exceptional full time Marketing & Content Manager for a 6-Month Maternity fixed term conrtract, with the anticipated potential to become permanent after the contract period, as our business & team continue to grow.

Karen Willis Holmes is a well-established & renowed Australian designer who is widely acclaimed in todays fashion markerplace, designing beautiful fashionable wedding dresses. The company has established a reputation for constantly exceeding customers’ expectations both with the product & service prodivded. 

The business has experienced immense growth in the last five years becoming an internationally recognised brand. The business has flagship boutiques across Australia in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth & a flagship boutique in the US in New York. The brand is also carried in stockists in New Zealand, Hong Kong, Ireland, Poland, Canada, UK & the USA. 

As Marketing & Spocial Media Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • planning and developing strategic social media calendars,
  • composing and scheduling engaging, informative and SEO focused content across print & digital platforms,
  • managing all social media profiles,
  • monitoring and using different analytics tools for community growth, content performance and engagement,
  • assisting with art direction for marketing collateral, including designing creatove to be used on social media channels for both the brand and to be distributed for use by stockists.
  • Management of ‘Our Brides’ including liaising with our brides and their photographers, collecting images, editing and uploading to the website.
  • Managing submissions of ‘Real Weddings’ to Blog/Magazine and other media to be featured.
  • Organising and managing call out of gowns and liasing with media.

Applicants should posses the following traits / skills (but are not limited too):

  • 1-2 years experience in a similar role
  • A tertiary qualification or diploma in either Marketing or Communications or similar
  • Understanding of & prior experience with impementing paid social campaigns utilizing Google AdWords & Facebook Ads
  • Experience and understanding of social media and how each platform can be best leveraged.
  • Ability to use data and analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights etc.)
  • Experience in managing budgets and working to deadlines
  • Strong copywriting skills, proofreading, and editing and ability to write on brand content.
  • Attention to detail & keen eye for design – InDesign, Illustrato, Photoshop and Photography skills will be highly regarded
  • Strong work ethic, highly creative and have a willingness to learn and self-educated
