Cadence & Co is a leading Sydney-based architectural, interior design, construction and landscaping company, specialising in high-end residential properties and estates. Founded in 2014 and now in its eighth year of operation, Cadence & Co is dynamic, evolving and expanding. The company currently employs over 150 people, with offices in the Northern Beaches and Southern Highlands, and a new office set to open early 2022 in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.


The Marketing & Communications Manager role is a hands-on position, responsible for the implementation of a comprehensive marketing and communications strategy. The successful applicant will work collaboratively with, and be supported by, the PR & Marketing team.


Following an extended period of rapid growth and expansion, Cadence & Co are preparing to upscale their marketing and communications operations, to champion and support the next phase of the company’s development. 

Whilst this is primarily a hands-on position, the Marketing & Communications Manager will have considerable opportunity to shape and inform the company’s marketing and communications programs and activities; and will be encouraged to regularly research and recommend innovations.

The focus of the role will be on maximising outcomes towards strategic business, brand and PR objectives. 

Key responsibilities of the Marketing & Communications Manager role include:

  • Drive engagement with the Cadence & Co brand and service divisions, through implementation of the Cadence & Co marketing and communications strategy;
  • Manage the development and activation of all brand marketing assets and collateral, ensuring consistency of brand positioning and key messaging;
  • Manage Cadence & Co’s digital presence to an exemplary standard across all portals and platforms, including Cadence & Co’s own website and social media channels, in addition to broader digital placement, coverage and reviews;
  • Develop and implement a Cadence & Co communications strategy, targeted at building key audiences and engagement; review data analytics, share insights, and make recommendations for innovations and improvements;
  • Encourage and facilitate broader Cadence & Co team input to social media and communications programs, for example via interviews, blogs and LinkedIn articles;
  • In close collaboration with the Marketing & Content Manager, jointly manage the creation of Cadence & Co content for all media channels. The Marketing & Communications Manager will focus on written content, and the Marketing & Content Manager on photography and video assets, with a shared and complementary vision;
  • Work closely with the PR & Marketing team to support media approaches and the development of outstanding media relationships; including collating information and assets for media packages, and ensuring timely responses to media requests;
  • Assist in identifying media opportunities, including thought leadership pieces for industry publications, LinkedIn, and other professional outlets;
  • Coordinate Cadence & Co’s advertising activity, including researching advertising options and value, booking advertising space, contributing to the creation of ad concepts and designs, and managing the delivery of advertising materials in a timely manner;
  • Coordinate Cadence & Co’s submissions for key architecture and design industry awards;
  • On an ongoing basis, the Marketing & Communications Manager will assist in promoting and ensuring brand consistency across all Cadence & Co services and operations.
