The Island Sydney is looking for a dynamic and engaging (Junior) Event and Administration assistant to join our team. They will be assisting the management and event sales team at one of Sydney’s premier hospitality and event venues.
The perfect candidate must be:
- Great Communicator
- Sales Experience preferred
- An Australian resident
- Hospitality experience a plus
- Supporting the Event Sales team
- Assisting in maintaining company website backend and database
- Updating all sales collateral regularly
- Responding to customer enquiries and answering phone calls
- Option to assist with hosting weekend events
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Experience using Microsoft Word & Excel programs
- Able to plan and manage timelines efficiently
- Solid work ethic and able to work flexible hours
- Knowledge of online and social media platforms
- You must hold an Australian permanent residency
