Location: Collingwood, Melbourne
Status: Part time – 4 days – Monday to Thursday 9am – 5pm
Salary: $27.26 / hour + Super + Generous Salary Packaging + Flexible Work Environment

We’re after a confident and self driven person to join our team to coordinate the relationships with donors, partners and clients, help them run fundraising activities, and show them how much they mean to us. The Donations and Relationships Coordinator is a natural networker, and will work with a small team to unlock future initiatives that change the lives of LGBTIQ youth Australia wide.

Main Roles and Responsibilities

  • Seek sponsorship and grant opportunities to unlock future projects and events. 
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Minus18 supporters – show them how much we appreciate them. 
  • Respond to incoming enquiries and support our partners through the resource and workshop order process.
  • Develop strategies to engage new donors and sponsors to achieve set targets.
  • Build and maintain our database of donors and supporters. 
  • Produce high quality and creative mailouts (electronic and physical).
  • Support the vibrant, positive and collaborative culture of Minus18 as a youth driven organisation.

 

Key selection criteria 

  • Lived experience and connection to LGBTIQ youth and social change.
  • Highly organised, self driven with a keen attention to detail.
  • Energetic networker with a love for fostering relationships. Experience engaging with sponsors and donors a plus.
  • Experience coordinating or managing database, eDM and CRM software.
  • Demonstrated marketing / promotional experience and ability to speak with a youth voice. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively and inspire others.
  • Connection to diverse identities within the LGBTI community, including people of colour, people with a disability, and people from regional and rural areas. 

 

Requirements 

  • Valid Victorian Working With Childrens Check
  • Successful Police Background Check
  • Valid Victorian Drivers License is favoured, but not required.
