The Role:

As Digital Marketing Manager you will have an integral role in the growth of The Grounds portfolio and brand. The Digital Marketing Manager will have a sales-focused approach to generating leads and building online awareness, working closely with the existing Marketing Manager to take the lead across a shared portfolio of brands. We are looking for a driven digital performance lead who can help take our digital marketing to the next level. Key duties include:

  • Day-to-day management and optimisation of multiple brand websites, increasing and improving conversion rates and lead generation
  • Hands-on execution and evaluation of paid digital ad strategies across social media and search (currently managed in-house)
  • CRM (Hubspot) management and optimisation
  • Plan, execute and evaluate direct email marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Manage and grow customer databases including email and The Grounds loyalty rewards program
  • Using digital marketing tools, share insights and recommendations to measure and report on the performance of digital marketing strategies, assessing for ROI and against KPIs 
  • A/B split test digital strategies, identify consumer trends and insights, optimising marketing spend
  • Manage external agencies to task, including SEO, content and web development ensuring a consistently high standard of performance
  • Work alongside the Marketing Manager to build strategic relationships and partner with key industry players to benefit the brand’s credibility and growth
  • Oversee Social Media & Content Manager in their role responsible for content creation, influencer management and social media channel activity/reporting/optimisation
  • Work closely with Graphic Designer and external supports to generate required digital marketing collateral 
  • Contribute to the overall marketing calendar, providing ideas for new campaigns, products and offers
  • Create budgets and maintain control of all digital marketing spend
  • Evaluate customer research, market conditions and competitor data
  • Educate and lead key stakeholders on digital marketing best practice and keep up to date with industry trends 
  • Advise and work closely with company director on new business ventures


  • 5+ years of experience in marketing + digital marketing
  • Relevant qualifications in Digital Marketing
  • Proven experience developing Consumer and B2B digital marketing management strategies, optimisation and successfully delivering results
  • Possess significant web/digital/social media/eDM/SEO experience combined with marketing campaign skills
  • Hands-on experience of customer acquisition via SEO, PPC, AdWords, Facebook Ads, Google Ads and Analytics, Retargeting and Social
  • Natural ownership of responsibilities, output, achievement and learning
  • A strong understanding of key digital success metrics
  • Budget management and detailed reporting experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with senior internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience with WordPress and Hubspot (onboarding experience is preferred)
  • Highly motivated, committed, team focused and positive approach to your role
