Thinking Loud are experts in music, youth culture and brand marketing. Our client roster includes global brands such as Boiler Room, Red Bull Music, Bacardi, Jameson, Southern Comfort, Wrangler and JBL, as well as music clients such as Sampa The Great, REMI, Touch Sensitive, Winston Surfshirt, Flight Facilities, Pnau and Cut Copy. We’re looking for a skilled Account Manager to join our Sydney office on a full-time basis.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Thorough knowledge of the music industry and culture space in Australia and internationally
  • Passion for music and cultural experiences and content
  • Proficiency in Keynote 
  • Minimum x3 years experience in a similar role 
  • Experience in event management and a basic understanding of event production is a plus

You will be responsible for:

  • End-to-end management of select projects for brand clients of Thinking Loud & Boiler Room, working with in-house and contract staff to plan and implement campaigns in line with set KPI’s
  • Acting as an ongoing client contact, managing day-to-day expectations and requests of select brand clients of the agency
  • Managing WIP meetings (client and internal)
  • Managing internal campaign budgets to ensure agency profit levels are maintained
  • Management of internal agency process documents and tools, including client reporting, WIP documents, run sheets, worksheets, KPI trackers, content schedules and any other templates required by the creative projects team to function efficiently
  • Participating in strategic planning and new business processes, including research, creative development, proposal writing and pitch presentations
  • Leading on Event Management projects within the Culture Marketing team – including planning and management of all agency events (supplier liaison, budgeting, production, talent), with the support of the Culture Marketing assistant and interns
  • Identifying and managing key music cultural partners; demonstrating network of contacts across all relevant industry platforms (label / touring / artists direct / promoters / venue owners)
  • Supervising and managing junior staff and interns within your team
