The Ballarat International Foto Biennale (BIFB) is the most prestigious photographic arts festival in Australia, running for more than a decade in the regional Victorian city of Ballarat, situated within easy distance from Melbourne.

Held every two years, BIFB is a month-long program comprising of two major photographic exhibition streams: a curated Core Program showcasing domestic and international artists; and an open-entry Fringe Program that fosters the development of new artists. A stimulating special events, education and public program sits alongside, shaping a rich, engaging, critical and community dialogue over 30 days. 

This is a new role within our organisation and we are looking for someone with exceptional organisational skills with an eye for detail with a can do approach and strong writing skills who loves working in a small team. You will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the organisation, digital marketing as well as working with the director on development and stakeholder engagement.
