ASIA PACIFIC – CLIENT SERVICE COORDINATOR  

SYDNEY

Digital Media Services part of the AKA Group of companies was established in 2002 and has over 70 employees. From our facilities based in Sydney, London and LA we provide Digital Creative Services to our clients that comprise of major film and TV studios, leading independent film distributors, West End and Broadway theatres, cultural institutions, sports, music and fashion companies.  

Due to the expansion of our International localisation services we are seeking a Client Service Coordinator to support the next phase of growth in our business within the Asia Pacific region. The ideal candidate will have solid post production localisation experience in producing TV Spots and Marketing AV promotional materials for International distribution and will thrive on working in a fast paced environment.    

The Opportunity for You  

The position will involve coordinating the post production and localisation of content for our film studio clients.  

The Role  

– Project managing and scheduling day to day client requests  

– Managing APAC production via our technical post production hub in London

– Liaising with and managing clients from initial job request through to final delivery

– Updating clients on the status of projects

– Approving localised content

– Coordinating localisation projects with International territory offices

– Administration of Digital Asset Management systems

– Billing administration

– Compiling management reports   

 

Skills You Need  

– Previous experience of working in a client service role within the entertainment industry  

– Experience of TV Spot localisation and distribution would be an advantage 

– Ability to provide first-class customer service in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

– The ability to build long term client relationships    

– Excellent written and verbal communication in English required. The ability to fluently speak and write in another Asia Pacific language would be an advantage 

– The ability to work independently from our Sydney office

– Experience in using MS Office package – Word, Excel and Outlook

– A basic technical understanding of SD & HD digital video and encoding file formats

The successful applicants will have the ability to cope well under pressure while working in a fast paced environment.
