The group owns and operates bar & restaurant venues as well as has a property portfolio.

They are looking for a switched-on office assistant to help with day to day tasks out of their Cremorne 3121.

Position Details:
Admin and Office Assistant to all departments

Monday to Friday 08:30am to 5:00pm

Short term contract until December

 

Duties of the role:

·       First point of contact/reception area

·       Answering the phones and transferring calls

·       Taking phone messages

·       General cleaning and tidying

·       Filing, organizing, laminating, cutting and printing of all promotional material

·       Basic data entry with Excel and on Sharepoint

·       Basic word document drafting

·       Short-term project/task research

·       Stationary ordering

·       Consumable stock takes

·       Putting together consumable orders for the venues

·       Running errands, shopping, getting coffees, making lunches for the directors

·       Setting up for daily meetings

·       Post Office runs

·       Social media posts in Instagram and Facebook for all venues

·       Staff memos for new campaigns

·       Managing restaurant reservations including adding pre-orders to OpenTable

·       Assist with looking after Directors 2-year-old son when babysitter is not available and 6 year old daughter when she returns from school

 

 

Required Attributes:

Efficient in using MAC & PC and very tech savvy

Great customer service skills, very bubbly over the phone as majority of time will be spend over the phone

Ability to retain large amounts of information effectively, with a very strict eye for detail

High level of planning and organisational skills

Experience with Outlook / Opentable reservations systems

Experience within the Hospitality industry

A team player who is level headed, sensible and consistent in nature, trustworthy and reliable

 

Australian work rights are essential
