Havas Sport & Entertainment’s Australian head office based in Sydney CBD is looking for an Account Manager to join their growing team. This role is a great opportunity for an AM who is looking to step up to a Senior Account Manager within the next year or so.

Havas Sports & Entertainment operates in more than 30 territories throughout the world and is one of the most influential sport and entertainment brand partnership agencies.  Having launched in Australia in early 2016, the team have steadily grown the business and recently won some exciting new accounts. They are now looking to grow their business further, with the support of an enthusiastic and motivated Account Manager.

This role would be suited to a confident and autonomous Account Manager who ideally has a passion for sports. You don’t have to have experience in sports (though this would be a bonus) – but you do need a keenness to learn that’s driven by a real passion for the area.

You’ll be confident in managing small to medium accounts independently, and will assist senior team members on larger accounts. You’ll report into the Senior Account Director, and have ample opportunity to learn from the Account Director and General Manager.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have solid activations and project management experience, with strong capabilities in budget management. You’ll also be campaign focused, and be a holistic and intuitive thinker. You’ll be efficient in day to day tasks, always managing your time and meeting deadlines, while maintaining a future oriented and data driven mindset.  Your attention to detail and proactivity will make you stand out from the crowd. Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills will be essential.

Day to day, you would:

·         Take the lead on client request and be able to feedback to the team

·         Manage small to medium scale campaigns and projects for HSE clients

·         Develop strong relationship with clients to ensure open communication and transparency

·         Manage all project timelines and budgets

·         Serve as liaison between clients and all departments of the agency   

·         Plan and attend large scale client events

·         Write effective briefs and create presentations to demonstrate progress
