You Can Rent Lady Gaga’s NYC Apartment If You’ve Got A Spare $44K A Month

Lady Gaga Apartment

With rental prices in major Aussie cities currently sitting at level insane, many of us renters are currently considering moving out to the middle of the country/selling a kidney to afford the cost of, well, existing.

While in Sydney AUD$44,000 a month might score you a nice medium-sized skip bin in a back alley of Surry Hills, in New York for this same price you can live in Lady Gaga‘s actual apartment.

Yep, Mother Monster herself is currently leasing out her Big Apple digs, located on the southern fringe of the very ‘grammable Central Park. The property, at number 40 Central Park South, is listed on Essential New York for lease at the tidy sum of USD$33,000.

It boasts two ensuite bedrooms downstairs and a master suite upstairs. There’s a sunken liven room, granite kitchens, marble bathrooms, a walk-in closet twice the size of my Surry Hills skip bin, a wood-burning fireplace, deep-soaking whirlpool bathtub,  and to cap it off: two yuge outdoor terraces to take in that epic view. Rent this space and you’ll never have to elbow tourists out of the way at the Top of the Rock ever again.

Cop a look at some of the light-filled apartment’s rooms here (and for more of a look, watch Gaga’s Netflix doco. It’s featured heavily.)

Anyone who takes up tenancy of the joint is in star-studded company. Aside from Gaga, Apartment Therapy reports that previous owners of the 185-square metre apartment include legend Liza Minnelli and the slightly less legendary Lance Armstrong.
