Everyone knows about Dyson vacuum cleaners – they’re the ones your mum and her mates froth over. They’ve long held top position in the Vacuum Cleaner Hierarchy, which definitely exists and isn’t something I just made up then for this story’s purposes.
Dyson’s cost an arm and a leg. Many arms and many legs, actually. For example, the latest model of their Animal Stick Vacuum will set you back around $899 at David Jones currently.
But if you’re not picky about getting the freshest model, you can now score one for a sweet $299 – at Aldi.
Yep, as of December 16 Aldi stores’ll have the Dyson DC 44 Animal with V2 Motor, and the DC29 Multifloor vacuums as part of their Special Buys.

People generally froth on the Animal Dyson – it’s like a super powered dust buster, really. The one in Aldi’s Special Buys also comes with a special attachment that sucks up animal hair like no one’s biz – so if your cat has been particularly sheddy this summer, here you bloody go.
