A foodie on Foodstagram has used a whole avocado as a burger bun, and we have a couple of quick questions.
1. Why?
2. But actually why?
3. Do you understand what an avocado is?
4. Do you realise that the typical constitution of a (ripe, tasty) avocado is soft mush?
5. Did you use a hard, unripe avocado? Do you realise they taste… not good?
6. Wait but why did you do this again?
7. Fuck, if you were actually serious about eating this, wouldn’t you cut the avo on the vertical, not horizontal?
8. Do you have an unusually large mouth and you’re trying to make the rest of us normal-mouthed humans suffer?
9. You have highly delicate fingers, correct? This creation would smoosh to absolute bits otherwise.
10. Do u need help?
Despite none of the above questions having any immediate or obvious answers, a bunch of publishers have already blindly jumped aboard the avo-as-a-bun train.

We are hoping, wishing and praying that this starts and ends here. We are not ready for this. We will never be ready for this.
