The Dudes From Mary’s, Porteño & Young Henry’s To Make Pub Baby Together

Sydney-siders rejoice – a pub for the people is soon to open, outside of a lockout law zone.
The talented men from Mary’s, Porteño, and Young Henry’s are coming together to claim a space in the lockout-free side of Oxford Street
Jake Smyth, Kenny Graham (Mary’s), Elvis Abrahanowicz (Bodega & Porteno), and Oscar McMahon (Young Henry’s) will be taking control of The Unicorn in Paddington, and it’s looking damn promising.
There will obviously be a fab range of Young Henry’s to get boozed on, but Smyth says there’ll be a range of other Aussie beers, too. The food will be interesting takes on classic Aussie pub food: sandwiches, roast chicken, glazed ham, steak and a (of course) a Mary’s burger.
It seems as though the lads have a very specific kind of pub in mind:

“We want to keep it broad, and we don’t want to call it a craft-beer pub,” says Smyth. “It’s a pub-pub.”

LITERALLY THOUGH:
