I don’t know about you, but there’s only one thing that gets me out of bed for my Sunday morning run… And that’s brunch.
Whether it’s a tomato sauce-smothered bacon and egg roll, a buttery croissant or a deeply Instagrammable acai bowl, the promise of a freshly-made meal after a sweat sesh is the ultimate motivator.
What if we told you that next weekend we’re hosting a 5K run followed by a delectable brunch with our mates at Nike, and if you come along, you’ll go into the draw to score a trip to Los Angeles? Surely that’d get you bouncing outta your doona.
That’s right, register and come along and you can literally run your way to LA.
Kicking off at 9AM on Sunday, March 11, you and 120 keen joggers will weave their way through Watsons Bay, taking in the sights and sounds of Sydney’s gloriously lush eastern suburbs.
Nike will be lending out brand spanking new pairs of their latest shoe, the Nike Epic Reacts, for punters to test out on the jog. Not only do they look fast af, they’re built to have you bouncing through your run like you’re atop a gosh darn cloud.
Once we hit the 5km mark, we’ll retire to the deck of Watson’s Bay Hotel for a delicious brunch, complete with mimosas, from 10AM -12PM. The vibe will be on, with a DJ spinning tracks sure to keep you on a run high long after you’ve untied your laces.
