For background, Lord Googs often release reports detailing what all us mouth-breathers are searching for on the inter-webs. Each report is pretty significant and reliable, considering you most likely plug your every embarrassing question / thought / desire into one of the company’s plentiful platforms. This one’s extra important, cause they’ve been aggregating data for it for two years.
And in the interest of #millennials #health and #wellness, we had a gander at the results – and they’re as #blessed as you’d imagine.
Ramen, bibimbap and bacon have been hot hot hot for the past 24 months, and interest in them is showing no signs of slowing down.
for obvious reasons

Rigatoni, linguine, empanadas (South American things that kinda look like pasties), and bundt cakes have been mega business for the past 2 years, too.
More and more people are searching for foods that promote health and wellness. One of those foods is turmeric, known as a superfood that can purportedly treat conditions like jaundice, uncontrollable farting and PMS. Cauliflower rice, sourdough bread, funfetti and vegan doughnuts are apparently very popular at present, too.
Rapidly falling out of favour are fun stuff like bacon cupcakes, bacon cinnamon rolls, rainbow foods, dutch baby pancakes and buffalo chicken fries… suggesting we’re collectively becoming healthier. The kicker here is that despite your Instagram feed convincing you otherwise, colourful fewd like rainbow bagels are so last season.
And lastly, here’re the top ten how-to searches, incase you haven’t already lost faith in this cruel world:
1. How to cut a mango
2. How to bake bacon
3. How to make cake pops
4. How to cut a pineapple
5. How to make ice cream
6. How to cook brown rice
7. How to soften brown sugar
8. How to cook steak
9. How to make frosting
10. How to cook crab legs
Lordy lordy lord.
