FKA Twigs is the kind of artist who can only be described as a powerhouse.
The 28-year-old English native is a singer, dancer, musician, producer and director. She’s basically everything.
She can now throw ‘Advertising Art Director’ into her byline, as she’s teamed up with Nike for their newest project titled “Do You Believe in More?” which spotlights their unisex Zonal Strength Running Tights.
The campaign features a collection of arresting images and a bloody beaut 2 min film, both of which were directed by Twigs herself. 12 eclectic athletes star, all of whom defy typical stereotypes of what it means to be athletic.
In a post on the Nike site, FKA Twigs opens up about why she choice to team up with the sportswear giant:
“When Nike reached out to me about collaborating together on this project, I saw it as an opportunity to inspire people who want to use their bodies in a positive way. I cast a group of amazing people who take their physicality seriously and have their own sense of style, in order to push people to be healthy and understand that, through any genre of sport, they can be the best versions of themselves.”
