‘F*ck Meditation’ Dude Strikes Again, Releases Companion Mindfulness App

If you’re a bonafide busy bitch (everyone) who has read all about the ethereal benefits of meditation, you’ve probably tried your hardest to be purified by countless guided meditation YouTube vids.
You’ve probably also stumbled across the viral vid posted in July last year, titled ‘F*ck That: An Honest Meditation’. The clip, which has received almost six million views, employs the usual meditation vid hallmarks of a rolling ocean visual and soothing background music.
What it also employs is some choice words on gradually letting the “horseshit of the external world fade from your awareness” when you simply can’t even. It’s the perfect tonic for those more ‘nasty’ than ‘namaste’.

Some pearlers from the clip include, but are not limited to:
“If your thoughts drift to the three-ring shit-show of your life, bring your attention back to your breathing, and with each breath, feel your body saying fuck thaaaaat.”

“With each breath you take, your thoughts become lighter, and all the soul-eating cock-suckers just fall away into nothing.”

The mastermind behind the clip, Jason Headley, has just released an app, Honest Meditation, after increased demand for longer versions of the original clip. He thinks it was super popular because “a lot of people are trying mindfulness and meditation right now. But the idea of suddenly sitting down, clearing your mind and becoming a better person is a bit of a challenge.”

“It’s said that we all have access to the inner voice. But odds are it might be a little petty and foul-mouthed at first introduction.”

A-fuckin-men it is.
When asked why he reckons it has resonated, he says that “some claim it’s actually helpful. That the laughter helps them. Or that the swearing does. I honestly don’t know, but I’m happy if people are happy.”

You can download the app HERE and begin enjoying ~the eternal bloody bliss of your newly spotless mind~.
